what you need to get started

I want to keep better track of what I have been doing to stay in shape... as hard as its been after having two kids, I am pleased with the results thus far but sure know there is lots to more to improve

Here are the things you will need to get started

1. Set a goal, weather be it a number lbs to lose, or a pant size#,  write it down and read it often remember it often

2. Get a good pair of shoes, and work out outfit,  make sure it fits comfortable, a water bottle and towel,  a Jump rope,  If you have a Gym great, if you can get into one... great, If not, you should invest in a couple of sets of weights 5-or 8 lb and 10 or 15 lbs should get you started

3.  Measure what your BMI by either by going to the Gym and asking the trainers to provide you with it, or find a place that would have one, try to find a way to measure it often, once a week at least. p.s don't get discouraged by the number, now that you know it, work hard to lower it if its too high

4. You can do number for by going to www.fitday.com  and creating a free account to monitor what you are eating and what you do for exercise. if you can't do it online, plain old piece of paper and a pen will do... write down everything you eat, and how many calories are you putting in, remember 2000 calories is daily intake but if you are trying to loose some weight you should lower it to maybe 15- 17oo good calories a day.
